The view renders href attributes based on the latest *approved* version. This means that when a spambot edits a page and changes the URL field, you end up with dead links all over the place.

I've also got problem with spammer bots on wiki.publicdata.eu portal
(MediaWiki). After installing CAPTCHA (reCAPTCHA in my case) it was
solved. However, bots can sometimes register new accounts (MW also
states, that there is a way to go behind reCAPTCHA). But no new edits
were performed since reCAPTCHA install - because user also need to
verify CAPTCHA, when adding link to external resources.
Thus, I think, there should be also CAPTCHA for editing URLs. The URLs
of catalogs do not change that often (so it won't be annoying to write
CAPTCHA down once in a while).

I hope, the problem with the bots can be solved in near future. I am
interested to use datacatalogs.org as a registry for CKAN instances for
LODStats application (http://stats.lod2.eu/). Right now LODStats works
only with TheDataHub CKAN instance.
If I can help somewhere - please, let me know.
