for some of you this might be interesting:

On the 24th and 25th of March a conference on data journalism is taking place in Hamburg, Germany: Daten - Recherche - Geschichten (data - reporting - stories). http://daten.netzwerkrecherche.de/

The most talks will be in German, but some in English, like these of Chris Taggart of Open Coporates,Tony Hirst (Open University) or James Ball (Guardian).
