Hey Hanna,

my suggestion: Do an interview with Sharon Machlis. She has covered a diversity of viz tools for Computerworld (US) and in a recent mail exchange said, that her interest is to tell not only media people what is now possible. Example: A tutorial for Google Fusion tables - http://www.computerworld.com/slideshow/detail/68971/How-to-make-a-map-in-Google-Fusion-Tables

The thorny thing with all the tools is that beginners in this wide field currently have to spent considerable time to find the tools that suit them. So, in short, Sharon might have a good view how anyone could approach this wide field, what are quality indicators for certain tools and - potentially very important - could differentiate between beginner, advanced and experts level tools. Plus, she could add how the trend to data-journalism might be reframed in other domains.

My guess is that Sharon is on this list, so creating a contact might be easy.

Same kind of interview could be done with the guys from datavisualization.ch, who are curating the great selection for common tools. Which is best? Which is good for what purpose?

Spreading that kind of knowledge could be helpful at this moment, at least that is my guess.
I am posting this suggestion here, so maybe others chime in an point to other potential contet topics.

Best,
Mirko
