Hello,

I have just joined the mailing list. As you're likely not to know me,  
here are some data on myself ;)

I am doing a PhD in media and communication at la Sorbonne. My  
doctoral thesis bears upon the introduction of the Stock Exchange  
section in the daily press. It focuses, more broadly, on the status of  
financial data within journalistic discourses.

I also work for a research project on datajournalism, funded by the  
CNRS: the Jourdain Project (some more information here (in French) : http://www.iscc.cnrs.fr/spip.php?article1715) 
. I am currently developing several data visualisation on the  
datajournalist communities.

Finally, I contribute frequently to the French Wikipedia and have  
become one of its sysop recently. I publish some well-read articles on  
Wikipedia and other open knowledge projects on a blog hosted by Rue89,  
Hotel Wikipedia.
