Hi everyone,
Just to let you all know ProPublica recently published a series of best
practices guides for those of you who are looking to design optimal news
apps or for anyone who is simply curious about the process.
A total of five guides were released via GitHub, including a news app style
guide, an advanced design overview, and a coding manifesto.
The guides were written by Scott Klein, the publication’s news apps editor,
and two of his colleagues, Jeff Larson, news apps developer at ProPublica,
and Jennifer LaFleur, director of computer-assisted reporting.
You can find the information and links to all five here: http://goo.gl/ZQkXb
Cheers :)
Hanna
