[ddj] Call for Submissions: Knight News Challenge on Open Government

Hi everyone,

I hope all is going well. I just wanted to alert your attention to the fact
that the call for submissions is open for the Knight News Challenge on open
government.

The main questions being asked by the Foundation is, “How might we improve
the way citizens and governments interact?” With that in mind, the contest
is calling on a range of applicants to share their ideas for improving
civic life. The Foundation is hoping to find and fund ideas that rethink
the relationship between people and governments.

The winners will receive a share of $5 million in funding. The deadline to
apply is 18 March.
