We examined data-journalism teams at the BBC, The New
York Times, The Guardian, USA TODAY, The Washington
Post, O Estado de São Paulo and the Chicago Tribune
to find out how the seeds for data awareness were
planted, how each data-journalism team is structured,
common challenges faced by data-journalism teams and
the process of creating a data-driven story.
