CALL FOR INTERN:

The Centre for Investigative Journalism is looking for an intern to help
with the completion a database. The role requires a minimum of 3 months,
working one or two days a week. Your Database Manager job will involve
cleaning the data; liaising with government departments and relevant
organisations to obtain any missing data; verifying your results with a
lawyer; working with a programmer towards web publication; and presenting
the database to the world once the project is complete.

Although this is a non-paid position, the intern who spends at least three
months with us will be able to receive any of CIJ’s bespoke trainings. We
will also refund reasonable transportation costs.

The database is not far from completion. You will be trained step by step
and will be guided to the delivery. You will need to be dedicated and help
create a good resource for journalists.
