Hi Sybren,
As far as I know you can use the website AsktheEU.org to sent FOI requests for documents held by European bodies. I read some of the requests already made and some do mention expenses and allowances to parliamentarians but the responses are usually vague.
But it is an interesting topic and I will check better what other possibilities are.
Best,
Cristian

Subject: [ddj] EU FOIA

Hi all,

I'm working a possibly explosive article (if indeed the information turns out to be true).

I can't tell much more about it, but I need to know the how to, possibilities, and limitations of using the FOIA on the European Union.

Is it possible to FOIA information about European Parliamentarians?
To FOIA information about cash flows from the EU to parliamentarians?

Sincerely,
Sybren Kooistra
