I can confirm that the command to dump the datasets to a CSV file should work fine on release 09.

For reference:

/applications/ecodp/users/ecodp/ckan/ecportal/bin/paster --plugin=ckan db simple-dump-csv <path to output CSV file> -c /applications/ecodp/users/ecodp/ckan/conf/ecportal.ini

As this comes from OKF directly I do not know if this is working with any possible changes done by TenForce. I’d prefer to have TenForce to give us precise instructions on what to do for the OPD environment as only they have the complete overview of what has been changed.

Hi Agnieszka,

Within CKAN there is a command to create a CSV dump of the datasets.
http://docs.ckan.org/en/ckan-1.8.2/database-dumps.html

Note that this command will include private and deleted datasets etc so you'll need to manually review the CSV to remove any datasets that you don't want to include. You may also want to remove some of the columns which won't be relevant for the user who requested the list of datasets.

We've got a request from a user to provide the content of ODP catalogue in a spreadsheet. As most of the data is still missing in Virtuoso could you inform us if such an export could be done directly from CKAN? If so, how?
