Hi Hans,
Thanks for this draft.
I think it looks good.
Some suggestions:
1. As it is aimed at journalists, always looking for some excitement,
I would put a bit more 'expectations' in the text, like: this will be the
landmark event, you should be there etc., illustrated by the big dilemma's
of the moment: how to have impact, how to make this work, how to make sure
governments connect and stay connected etc.
2. I would also put in the contact details of Ton, so that any
responses can be covered by him (if Daniel wants to cover German speaking
countries and you French speaking countries that is fine, but it may be wise
to have one central person).
3. Possibly you can also add some words on our sponsors.
To be discussed and finalized at our CC. If others have comments, please
prepare them.
Also we need to agree then on the distribution (timing, logistics etc.).

Onderwerp: [epsi-coord] ePSI conference press release
Hi all,
As discussed during Monday's call, I've tried to come up with a draft press
release for the conference, to be sent out to potentially interested
publications. As you'll see, it's largely based on the existing promotional
materials, but my two main goals were to keep it short (one page max) and to
make it understandable to anyone with even the slightest interest in the
topic (so no jargon or references to legal texts). Could you take a look at
see if this is appealing enough for press purposes? Your comments would be
very welcome. I also put it in the dropbox under the marketing-folder for
the conference.
BR,
Hans
