Hi all,

Am currently in London for the Olympic Games with Elmine and one of her
fencing club pupils, but will also work. Won't be making it into the call
however this week, so an e-mail update instead.

I was supposed to meet Szymon last Thursday in Luxembourg, but he cancelled
shortly before the meeting. At least we showed our flexibility by offering
to come to Luxembourg on short notice. We've rescheduled for a telephone
conference on Monday 6 August (next week) at 15.30 before our team
conference call. He will be joined in the call by Katalin Imrei.

Katalin apparently will be our actual Project Officer (Szymon wrote 'she will
in fact be your main contact point inside the Commission') and not Szymon.
Katalin is Hungarian, looking at her LinkedIn profile
http://www.linkedin.com/pub/katalin-imrei/b/9/900 ) I don't think I ever
met her before. She joined DG Information Society only last May, and I
guess will be somewhat new to the topic.

I have sent Szymon all our material in the past weeks (TRs, survey,
conference doc, workshop doc) but I think it may mean we'll have to wait
for answers a bit longer.

For the survey I think if we can get the ok on next Monday, we immediately
send out invitations to join the survey (twitter, perhaps mailing although
of little use during summer holidays, which will cause a problematic level
of bounces)

I will have a draft Tech Review ready by Monday as well, for your feedback.

If there are any questions etc. please drop them in e-mail, as I will be
hard to reach by phone.

best,
Ton
