[EU-lobby-data] Using lobbycrunching data for research on MIFID/EMIR lobby?

Hi guys,

Maybe we can discuss this at the call on friday, but I had a question 
from our food spec/finance regulation campaigner Anne about MIFID/EMIR 
lobbying.
She's looking into ways to expose some of the scandalous aspects of the 
corporate lobbying on this issue, both showing imbalance industry/civil 
society plus also maybe manage to expose the very harsh lobbying from 
some specific industries (energy companies, commodity businesses, 
apparently also aviation).

So I was wondering:
- is there a way we could extract some data from the database to help her?
- is that an idea that we would add MIFID to the list of topics to be 
featured in our launch? (there's a window of 2 to 3 months for her in 
the campaign, which means that if we could make some noise when we 
launch the tool, insh'allah somewhere around mid April) - so if we could 
extract the data, I'm happy to work on a MIFID-related story with anne, 
that we could add to the other stories. Campaign-wise it would be very 
helpful.
