Dear Jonathan and dear All,

thanks for you kind introduction and thank you for your efforts related
to open data and knowledge in general and for having created this
mailing list.

(I skip likely boring self introductions: if you like to know more,
http://nexa.polito.it/staff#morando)

During the coming weeks and months, we (Cristiana Sappa and me) will
keep you posted about a couple of PSI related project that we (at the
University of Turin and at the NEXA Center for Internet & Society) just
launched or are launching. Of course, our approach will duly take into
account the opportunities offered by open approaches to the management
of public sector data. One project (Extracting Value from Public Sector
Information) is a regional research project (of the Italian Region of
Piedmont) and the other one (Legal Aspects of Public Sector Information)
is a European Thematic Network that we are about to officially start.
Some online info will be available soon and we'll let you know the URLs.

Thanks again and best regards,

Federico
