[okfn-coord] Fwd: Sponsorship for open data and semantic web workshop

Hi all,

Talis have expressed an interest in becoming an official sponsor of
the open data and semantic web workshop we've organised for this
autumn:

  http://blog.okfn.org/2009/08/05/open-data-and-the-semantic-web-workshop-london-13th-november-2009/

The two things we've said we'd like sponsorship for are:

  * ensuring Jordan Hatcher can come along to speak about legal tools
for open data (the ODbL, PDDL, ...);
  * registering a critical mass of LOD datasets and other semantic web
open data on CKAN in preparation for the workshop.

How much do people think we should ask for for each of these things?
It would be great to get back to them ASAP!

Yes we'd be interested in becoming an official sponsor for the workshop.

Do you have an estimate of the level of sponsorship you need for the
two activities you mention?
