FYI, looks like the EU FP7 bid the OKF is part of is doing quite well.

Dear LOD2 partners,

The first evaluation period ended yesterday. In this period 5 experts
were evaluating and discussing each proposal and preparing a consensus
report which awarded a grade between 1 (worst) and 15 (best). IP
proposals which are above 10 passed the threshold and will be invited
to hearing (presentation + QA session) in Luxembourg.

28 proposals were eligible submitted IP proposals (to which LOD2
belongs). From those the highest ranked proposal got 12.5 points.
After that there is a group of proposals with 12 and 11.5 points. LOD2
presumably got 12 points and hence has quite some chances to get
funding :-)

However, its still far from being definite for several reasons: Only 2
to max 4 IPs will be funded - the exact number depends on the budget,
which has to be shared with the STRePs. There are more other 12 point
ranked proposals. The ranking can even completely change after the
hearings.

Just wanted to give you a quick update on the current state. Lets keep
fingers crossed and think about how to position LOD2 best at the
hearing...

A happy Christmas time to all of you,

Sören

PS: The information above is completely unofficial and NOT for sharing
or discussing publicly!!! The official evaluation report for LOD2 with
the questions for the hearing we will receive later in December or
even January.
