>From a technical point of view, I think this sounds like a decent
idea. The idea seems to be for Scraperwiki to focus on the ETL stuff
and CKAN on the storage, versioning and registration. Last time I
looked, the ETL layer was based around building out VMs (virtualbox
IIRC) that might add a lot of weight to a CKAN install.
>From a broader perspective, is there not a danger in overlapping
opportunities for Scraperwiki/CKAN - that might leave either party
feeling miffed? I never quite understood what scraperwiki's business
is. They were funded by 4ip and release under GPL, but are they a
business or a not for profit, or what?
