I just read the rules,
http://www.ericssonapplicationawards.com/rules
The one that is annoying is:
The submitted application must be an original work (i.e. it shall not
have been published or made available for a third party).
But I deeply think there is no problem because EuroTrain and the
timetable that change depending location is totally different from
BeTrains. We can also add some easy features that will make it unique.
And the second one is the "team",
We have choice between students and companies
§2.1 The Contest consists of two (2) competition categories, the Student
Category and the Company Category. Participation at Ericsson Application
Awards 2011 is open - in respect of the Student Category -- to
individual students of higher vocational and academic studies, and -- in
respect of the Company Category -- to companies which has no more than
one hundred (100) employees world wide.
§2.2 Each competing team must consist of 2-4 persons.
I think that we have 2 choices, 1) we need to register iRail as a non
profit company asap (seem problematic)
2) you do that as students and I just give you some help.. (as the rules
are very light, I think there is no problem to get any help)
I strongly suggest option 2
Are you interested with that stuff?
Please tell me and we will do something huge.
Christophe
