Yes, this is very simple to implement. On this line:

http://project.knowledgeforge.net/kforge/trac/browser/trunk/src/kforge/dom/project.py#L9

just add 'description' to the list of attribute names to be searched.

I just committed this change:

http://project.knowledgeforge.net/kforge/trac/changeset/1120

Other domain objects work in the same way, and probably need adjusting.

Caveat: search fields must be text fields...
