I don't believe we use it though John is the expert here.

It might though the first step would be do to some benchmarking to get 
an idea of cost-benefit. I also wonder whether just using plain 
mod_cache or similar might not be more useful as it would affect all of 
your sites at once rather than being KForge specific.
