This was working beautifully (we thought), with redirects to the login
screen and back when access is controlled. It's disappointing, but I'm
sure we'll get there again. The POST problem (discussed on the lists for
some time) caused a bit of a snag. I'm sure we'll sort it out though.
But it's a bit tricky, and none of our tricks have worked so far, but
I've thought up a few more recently, so I'm going to have another go at
it....

We could perhaps develop the list into a table, and provide secondary
links to the project's application services next to the project's title,
linked to the project administration page. Or we could put the admin
page link round a tool icon and put it after the links to the services.
Would that be more useful?

Yes, I think we just need to change the project list template, so the
ul/li elements are table/tr/td. And then make a link for each the
project services:
