[MyData & Open Data] Internet of Things / privacy / data release

Laura,

Thanks for these links, it great to see the Bill Of Rights conversation getting somewhere. 

It seems that there is an issue in that privacy means both Data Protection & Personal Information Control. 

In the context of Data Protection companies get the IOT data and protect if for the customer, in the context of Information Control the individual owns their own IOT data and control their private data in order to control it's sharing. 

Perhaps further discussion or an icon for this sort of thing would be useful?
