Dear All,
French think tank Forum d'Avignon recently published a Preliminary
Declaration of the Digital Human Rights which, in our view, dangerously
confuses personal data with creative work.
Therefore, French civil society organisations Open Knowledge Foundation
France, La Quadrature du Net, SavoirsCom1, Framasoft, Libertic, Creative
Commons France, April and République Citoyenne published a statement to
share our concern and *denounce the Forum d'Avignon’s use of digital
privacy’s debate to its own profit, that is in order to reinforce
copyright. *
Read our statement in english here http://fr.okblogfarm.org/?p=1189 and
please share if you agree with our declaration
Best
Pierre
