A press release gets the news out there. Yes, we could create a list
on the wiki of people who should be notified but, to reuse Rufus:
For our part I must point out that, for this task, at present,
software.coop has only very limited resources -- no dedicated budget
and the efforts of a small group of people giving their time pro bono.

So, we really don't want to waste effort repeating work, doing
unnecessary extra research trying to discover what's already been
done, or generally trying to collaborate with a group as unresponsive
as FSF's v3 drafting party.

I've added news release(s) and invite people to the consultation to
the wiki task list, but perhaps someone from ODC/OKFN could start the
list of who to invite by answering:

2. who has been invited to pay attention here so far?

This question was dodged in the Mon Mar 9 11:57:40 GMT 2009 email and
that's pretty discouraging.
