Dear advisory board co-members,

Originating from a discussion on the OKFN mailinglist the idea was born
to organize a research track withing OKCON 2010. The track will probably
have a formal but very open submission and reviewing process, which
enables us to also attract attention from more research communities
relevant to open knowledge. The submissions to the track will be grouped
around the pillars science, technology, society and culture.
I prepared a first draft of the call for papers at:

<http://wiki.okfn.org/okcon/2010/cfp>

In order to have a diverse, truly interdisciplinary conference track it
would be great if you could have a look at the CfP, and maybe help
revising it and contributing more topics of interest, which you think
would be particularly attractive and relevant for your field/communities.

Also your participation in the programme committee (i.e. publicizing the
call, and helping to organize an inspiring programme) would help making
the track a success.

Best,

Sören
