The fundamental question is:
* do we know what we ARE and are looking for a tagline to describe it OR
do we know what we WANT TO BE and are looking for a tagline to help us
get there?
These are quite different. The first is marketing; the second is strategic
planning. One or the other should be relevant but not both.
Actually I suspect we don't know fully what we are or fully what we want to
be. I think we should be looking for (say five) pillars to encapsulate what
we agree on. That could help us formulate our responses to questions rather
better.
