I have used this data in the past but I had to pay to access it ($94
at today's rates apparently)
http://www.bom.gov.au/climate/data-services/

You can collect the half hourly public readings from BOM
http://www.bom.gov.au/products/IDN60903/IDN60903.94926.shtml if you
know before hand you'll need the data. Or Weather Underground have
historical crowd sourced half hourly data
http://www.wunderground.com/history/airport/YSCB/2013/12/15/DailyHistory.html?format=1
Easier than setting up your own weather station.
