[OKFN-AU] Invitation to Art Gallery Evening: Melbourne Maps by Melburnians for the Digital Data Age.

Dear Melburnians,

You are cordially invited to attend an "unusually practical" *Art Gallery*
this Wednesday the 27th from 6pm to 9pm at Media House (next to Southern
Cross train station).

The Art on Display:  Melbourne Maps by Melburnians for the Digital Data Age.

The creation of these new beautiful maps was sponsored by The Age's
DataPoint team, the Open Knowledge Foundation (OKFN), the Australian
National Data Service (ANDS), and the proactive citizens of Melbourne.

There will be five new maps of Melbourne on display, the artists,
cartographers and developers who created them will be on hand to explain
how their art came to life (and the open data that made it possible).

This one-time Art Gallery will take place atop Media House overlooking
Melbourne in The Age's Boardroom.  Barbecue will be served throughout the
evening along with drinks.
