[okfn-be] New election of the board of directors

Hi all,

In February 2015, Open Knowledge Belgium will celebrate its third 
anniversary during the Open Belgium conference 
(http://2015.openbelgium.be). This means that the official functions 
within the board of directors have been doing their work for 3 years 
now, and we will be open to accept new people in the board of directors 
of the vzw/asbl.

More information about what you can apply for and how this election will 
work, can be found on the "Board of directors 2015-2018 application

Time frame:
  * apply until the end of December
  * voting will happen during January
  * 23d of February during the Open Belgium conference: the start of the 
new board

P.S.: I would be more than proud if someone else puts up his candidacy 
for president of the board of Open Knowledge Belgium. I will not apply 
to become re-elected. I will remain part of the board through my 
position as Open Transport working group coordinator and will remain as 
active as I am today to build the community. It was my goal to be able 
to hire a community coordinator and make sure that this person is funded 
on a stable basis. It's now up to the next chairman with her/his own 
vision, to turn Open Knowledge Belgium in the professional community 
driven organisation it is able to become.
