[okfn-be] Open letters for open data prioritisation (was: okfn-be Digest, Vol 43, Issue 5)

Hi Michiel, Wouter and all,

Interesting! Seems like there is interest by governments on different 
levels for a clear prioritisation of datasets to be made open.

Michiel: on a federal level, we have 10 datasets we strive for 
internationally to have as open data. These can be found here: 
http://index.okfn.org/dataset/. Sometimes these datasets are open but 
are only available as excel files. We should strive towards Linked Data.

Wouter: on a local level in Belgium we have already gathered (in 
co-creation) a list of 15 datasets we would like to see opened up: 

I agree that in both cases, these lists don't reflect what will cause 
the most media attention at that time. Maybe we should set up a voting 
platform for the prioritisation of datasets, categorized by 
organizational level?
