Subject: Update on Maker Party 2015
To: Amira Dhalla <amira em mozillafoundation.org>

Hello!

You are receiving this email as a previous participant, enthusiast and
partner in Mozilla's annual campaign to teach the web, Maker Party.

A lot has changed since we first launched Maker Party in 2012. The number
of participants has rapidly grown and their needs have developed. To
address this, we recently launched our new site at http://teach.mozilla.org
as a hub for all Mozilla Learning Networks initiatives. We've also launched
our new Mozilla Clubs program, which was a direct result of Maker Party
participants wanting ways to continue teaching the web after their one-off
events. Mozilla Clubs provides a more sustainable way to teach people how
to read, write and participate on the web, with curriculum that is free and
open, community mentorship and on-going engagement. Feedback from trusted
partners like you has been instrumental in helping us continue to develop
programs and strategies for achieving universal web literacy.

Mark your calendar! This year, Maker Party will be globally celebrated from
July 15-31st and various times locally throughout the year. And like
previous years, individuals all over the world are getting ready to
celebrate making and learning with us. We hope you will too. In our 2015
Maker Party kit [http://bit.ly/1Gv8PGW] you will find resources and assets
to use or share among your network. Bonus points for throwing a Maker Party
event!

If you have any questions about Mozilla Learning Networks, Mozilla Clubs or
Maker Party, I would be happy to talk more. Thank you for continuing to be
a great partner in our work and helping us grow.
