Creative Commons today launched an online catalog that lists purveyors
of free/libre materials for the use by artists, designers and teachers.
The catalog is intended to supplement search and make it easier for
users to find materials from sources not included in CC Search.

The new catalog is part of the CC Norway website and has the
following URL:

    http://www.creativecommons.no/ressurser

The catalog is community maintained and curated - anyone can suggest
a site for inclusion into the online catalog.

The portals allows artists, designers and teachers to locate
material by type (image, audio, video, font, dataset), type of
resource (search engine, archive, etc), and by license (PD,
permissive, copyleft, ARR).

While the website is in the Norwegian language and is intended to
serve the  Norwegian Community, I am very proud of this new
service and also want it to be known by the cc-community.

Also, if some in the cc-comunuty know about some really good
websites that hosts free/libre materials for artists, designers
and teachers that is not yet listed in our catalog, please add
them (entries in any language is accepted, we've got curators
that will tidy up the language).
