As I mentioned when you were in town, I've been getting more and more
interested in collecting bulk data sets even outside the work I'm
doing on books for Open Library. Talking with friends who have been
collecting data in other fields (like Josh Tauberer in Open
Government), I've noticed that there aren't any good communities
connecting the people who do the grunt work across these different
fields. So I decided to start one:

I'd appreciate it if you could help spread the word. A message to the
okfn lists, for example, would be a big help. Thanks so much!
