Thanks! And this is a good moment to solicit some input on CKAN in two areas:
1. We'd love to have some volunteers to act as "official"
maintainers/editors for specific subject areas in CKAN.
Being an editor/maintainer wouldn't take much time (not more than an
hour or two a month) and would involve adding and updating the CKAN
"packages" for a particular subject area, say, geodata
(<http://www.ckan.net/tag/read/geodata>), or uk government material
(<http://www.ckan.net/tag/read/workshop-20081101>).
I should also emphasize that it doesn't involve any great technical
know-how: all you need is an interest in digging around for datasets
or other collections of material in a given area (science, geodata,
business, culture etc).
2. What should we do next with CKAN, what additional features should we add?
For example, we could improve package search, or work on connecting
CKAN with one or more repositories (be it the Open Data Grid, Talis CC
etc).
