[okfn-discuss] Proposal for OpenThesis Project

There appears to be an organisation called OpenThesis at
http://www.openthesis.org/ . It is difficult to find out much about them -
it looks like they wish to create a metadata site. They have been going a
while - they are in DOAR [
http://www.opendoar.org/find.php?search=Open%20Thesis&title=Open%20Thesis ]
- but their IP approach is a tiny bit different from ours:

Accessing the OpenThesis database in an automated manner is not permitted,
and may result in banning from the site, as well as legal action. Data from
this site may not be resold or redistributed.

So, apart from the name clash (which is unfortunate and we may need to think
about) there isn't much in common unless you know diferently
