Hmmmm... not sure - I think this would look a bit weird. How about we
use Calendar for locationless-events, both virtual and international,
and meetup for anything tangible, in-person (can you embed a map from
meetup in the site?)

Maybe it is possible to display day-view by default so that things are
more visible?
