[okfn-discuss] Apps For Ghent and Apps For X

Hi OKFN people,

The 24th of March we're organising Apps For Ghent
(http://appsforghent.be). We opened up (a lot of!) datasets which no-one
thought was possible opening and we got the full support of the city of
Ghent.

The schedule for the day:

08u30: Doors open
09u00: Start Student Hackaton
13u30: Open Data talks by policy makers
14u30: Presentations App Contest for professionals
15u30: Presentations Student Hackaton
16u30: Talks & Demos
17u00: Award Ceremony with reception
18u00: End

We're still looking for an international speaker. We do not have funds
to pay for transport costs though. It would be great if, perhaps, OKFN
could fund someone?
