[okfn-discuss] Entering the Public Domain in 2013

There's a wikipedia list for people who died in 1942 [1], which might help.

It seems that a lot of US-based authors/creators keep having their works extended, so it's harder to find public-domain work from the US, no matter when a contributor passed away.
