Aaron, the Snowdrift project sounds amazing. Funding and sustainability
for open culture projects is indeed a key issue, and Snowdrift sounds like
an innovative way to tackle it. I've had other thoughts as well, perhaps
compatible that I'd share some time.
I live in TX (am awaiting approval of my application to be an OKfn
Ambassador in Austin), and have been a firm believer in CC BY-SA for
collaborative and personal art for many years. You can be sure that I'll
be getting materials together to submit.
I am actually just now launching a project as part of an Austin arts
festival; a digital installation of my work, downloadable as CC BY-SA. The
timespan it's available for download right now will be limited, but mainly
just to add a bit of interaction and drama to the current festival; it'll
go up permanently down the line.

In the meantime, as I explore Snowdrift and perhaps get my own submissions
together, I wanted to invite you to the Google+ Community I've created
dedicated to CC BY-SA. Please feel free to spread the word and invite the
like-minded!
