Hi everyone,

As you may have noted in earlier communications, we're currently looking to
improve the coverage of the Open Data Census (http://census.okfn.org/) and
to verify existing contributions to ensure information is still up to date
and reliable.

We're putting together a team of Census Country Editors, and you can see
the list here:
https://docs.google.com/a/okfn.org/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AjAcHTKULuf8dFBKbEJ5WlFkQkZ3MTd1WnJBUGozbWc#gid=0

However, there are still several countries that are either not fully
covered or where the data needs updating, so we're urging more of you to
join! Either by becoming a Census Country Editor (a low-commitment role to
act as point of reference in your country) - get in touch with me if you're
up for this - or by helping out with ad-hoc adding data or reviewing.

There are two actions you can help with:

- Contribute to countries where there is missing information - you can do
this right now, just visit http://census.okfn.org/country
- Review existing contributions - you will need access to the review
spreadsheet
*(just let me know and I can add you)*

It would be great if you could help bring the census up to date. This is a
top priority for the next week, so we are really counting on the community
to help lift this thing. The Census is an entirely crowdsourced thing,
let's show the world how we do things!

Get in touch if you're interested to lend a hand.

-Christian
