Hi Marc,

I agree with what you said in this thread.  The point of my email
was precisely to state that there is no point of being holistic when
judging whether someone is consistent with the True Open Lifestyle™.

I agree that moral arguments should prevail on pragmatic arguments
when promoting free software and/or open content/data/access.  But
I think pragmatism should prevail when someone has to decide "Is it
worth lecturing this X about its inconsistency?"  My first reaction
was just about this: I don't think it's efficient/useful to lecture
the journal the OP first mentioned, because people behind it will
just shrug.

That said, not a big deal.
