[okfn-discuss] Next steps on the Open Knowledge Tagline

I think there could be something in the first two, with a bit of
refinement. Currently they sound a bit contrived.

"open data, open minds" is the most elegant, however it implies that our
motives for open data is to open peoples minds which sounds a bit fluffy
(and debatable).

(If "freeing ideas" is what we want to say that we do) I quite like
"empowering people by freeing ideas", but I do agree that it is a bit
clunky. The suggestion of dropping the "by" would help. I would perhaps go
one further and drop the "empowering people", credit people with the vision
to see that ideas = power.
