i missed this announcement somehow, great news!

reading the webpage:

also from the "bibliographical source" (http://folk.uio.no/bjornkho/MEP/):

it does not seem like regular updates is part of the project.

anyway, there is daily updated data available, on parltrack.euwiki.org, so
maybe there is a way to get the data on a daily basis also in this fine
project. for another project i'm currently working on retrieving the
questions, speeches, and vote explanations into parltrack. so they can be
expected to be also updated daily soon.

anyway kudos for this nice data transformation to the creators.
