Hi Iain,

Thanks for sharing the announcement - it looks like an interesting workshop
on important topic.

What I find a bit concerning is that I just noticed on the SSI's website
<http://www.software.ac.uk/> that the default licence is Creative Commons
Non-Commercial - ie. a non-open licence = not open according to the Open
Definition <http://opendefinition.org/>.

It would be amazing if the SSI could adopt a truly open licence
<http://opendefinition.org/about/> like CC-BY or CC-BY-SA so everyone could
benefit from the work that is being shared and that it will be easier to
build freely on the SSI's work. Do you think it would be possible to take
that into consideration and change the default licence?
