[okfn-discuss] São Paulo City promotes a public consultation on free license policy

Hello everybody,

I'm very enthusiastic to announce that the Municipality of São Paulo is
carrying out a public consultation on a

licenses policy

This policy should cover all content produced by the Municipality: text,
images, videos, databases, maps, software, artistic and scientific
works, etc. The policy will involve all its departments, public
enterprises, government agencies and foundations.

São Paulo is the largest city of Brazil with 11.9 million inhabitants
and has the largest municipal budget too. I hope that this initiative
will inspire other cities and countries around the world.
