Just to draw your attention to a discussion just starting on Wikimedia
right now about how they can get Wikidata to play nicely with other open
datasets. If this is comes to a good conclusion, it might be really
significant for the discoverability and reuse of a great deal of open
resources.

I was at the Wikimedia Hackathon in Zurich last weekend, and discovered
they're working on a feature for Wikipedia that allows for live
visualisations to be embedded into articles. These would be open and
editable by anyone, just like a wiki page, and will be dynamically rendered
from data in wikidata (and perhaps beyond, if the above discussion pans
out). Pretty neat.

If you want to find out more, I encourage you to swing by the Wikimania
Open Data Hack Weekend<https://wikimania2014.wikimedia.org/wiki/Fringe/Open_Data_Hack>on
5th & 6th July, part of the fringe programme for
Wikimania <http://www.wikimanialondon.org>, Wikimedia's global conference
which is coming to London this summer for the first time.
