Dear all,

Excites Research Group at University College London recently released GeoKey [1] — a platform for participatory mapping. GeoKey enables communities to collect, share and discuss local knowledge. It provides features to set up data structures, user rights management, photo and video upload, discussions and a REST API to access and share data.

On 29th November, we’re holding a code sprint in London to extend GeoKey’s functionality and to develop ideas for future development. We want to work on integration with social media (Twitter) or on features for data import and export). If you are interested in participating, please head to the Eventbrite page [2] for more information and sign-up.

Best,
Oliver Roick.
