[okfn-help] AWS issues

Is eu8 supposed to be on instance i-b32e55c4? That instance appears to be
having trouble booting, as /var/{run,lock} don't exist (I think /var is
really on the volume we attach as /mnt/root). Are filesystems getting
mounted in the wrong order?
