[okfn-help] Admin Adding Blog Authors to Buddy Press

Dear All,

We're currently trying to make sure that all external users who author
posts on our blog have their own Buddy Press profile.

Currently it is possible as an administrator to add users to Buddy Press on
okfn.org, but appears impossible to populate their profile with the
requisite information (biog and photo). Any biographical information you do
add does not appear on the profile.

As the original idea was to add authors so that readers could click on
their name and find out more about them the current system is going to be
difficult to work.

Barring asking all authors to set up their own profile (something that
would usually lead to posts having to be delayed while we waited for
information).

Does anyone know of a work around?
