Hi guys,

At http://epsiplatform.eu/content/international-open-data-day-announced you
will find the announcement of Worldwide Open Data Day, for 23 Feb 2013.
This is the follow-up of the December 2010 and December 2011 Open Data
Days, and an initiative of David Eaves and others.

The general idea is that local open data communities in various cities
around the world get together and work on open data. Either working to get
data cleaned up and published, building apps, or adapting existing apps
from other cities to their own city. It is usually fun to connect to other
city teams during the day to share ideas and experiences.

I think it would be great if several cities in Italy could get a little
group together to hack. With the various local and regional dataportals
that got launched this year there should be some material to work with :)

A site should be up soon at http://opendataday.org

Any of you interested?
